Rocket Space – Expanding Its Orbit
The Company Acceleration Secret – Duncan Logan
By: Donna Compaglia
In 2011, a young entrepreneur was frustrated as he looked for an office for his technology company in San Francisco.
Duncan Logan, a tech executive, did not want to be isolated in a private office in a multi-tenant building. He wanted to be surrounded by other technology freelancers and startups.
He has an idea. Start an ecosystem platform for like-minded technology companies.
The idea for the RocketSpace campus was launched! A place for tech entrepreneurs to work and launch their companies in their own ecosystem.
Today they have worked with more than a thousand high-growth tech startups and 170 corporate brands. Notable alumni include Uber, Spotify, Zappos, and Hootsuite.
In July 2017, Duncan, who was born in St. Andrews, Scotland launched another campus in London.
Duncan described the ecosystem’s system with the following facts:
- 1.5 startups per week secure financing
- 18 of their alumni have valuations of over $1 billion
- R.S. has over 170 corporate partners
If you are traveling to San Francisco and you qualify as a tech entrepreneur, you may apply for a surf desk in the surf zone or perhaps, a private office.
You can be assured that through seminars, mentorships, and the connections to others like you in the ecosystem, Duncan Logan will want to add you to the list of successful alumni. Rocket Space is the premier company to offer a startup accelerator program.
Stay tuned to RocktSpace taking off in Australia, Calgary, and China!
