Impact Hub Santa Barbara is About YOU
Funk Zone
In April, Impact Hub Santa Barbara opened its second location in the Funk Zone. The new space was designed with the same attention to detail, beauty, and function that has defined Santa Barbara’s downtown Hub. The Funk Zone has quickly grown a personality and style all its own. As soon as you enter the doors you can feel a different kind of energy, whether it’s the location – a five-minute walk from the beach – the uniquely energetic mural covering the walls, or the new members who now call it their home base, the Funk Zone Hub is always buzzing.
Community
If you ask members why they choose the Impact Hub and what sets it apart from another workspace, you will hear a variety of answers. Some will say they love the Hub because of its state of the art conference rooms, blazing fast Wi-Fi, and the spaces designed with productivity in mind. Others will mention the events that provide ongoing education and connections to keep themselves and their business competitive. But the one trope you will hear time and time again that draws people to the Impact Hub is the community. There is nothing to keep you motivated, inspired, and on top of the game than being connected to an ever-growing network of amazing people from different walks of life, working on different projects, all working towards a better and brighter future.
Offerings
As the Impact Hub community grows, the perks grow right along with it. There’s a comment I hear people making all the time when they bring their friends in to show off the space – when they enter the kitchen they will say, “and now for the best part…” Obviously, there is much more to the Impact Hub than the kitchen, but the Impact Hub is always offering show stopping perks from beer and kombucha on tap to amazing loose-leaf tea and coffee, organic fruit from a local CSA, cold brew coffee, iced tea, and citrus water.
New Event Spaces
Impact Hub Santa Barbara has expanded again. In a move to fulfill a need in the community for a different kind of event space, the Impact Hub has acquired a space across the street from their downtown location. There is now a private space, available for bookings throughout the day, run with the same knowledgeable professionalism as the Impact Hub. The new event space’s flexible design and full kitchen can play host to board meetings, art shows, dinner parties, lectures or conferences.
Health
There is more to life than work. The Impact Hub recognizes that and always strives to create a holistic approach to workspace. A fleet of sky blue bikes has recently appeared on the streets of Santa Barbara featuring the Impact Hub logo across the basket. The bikes are just one testament to the Hub’s commitment to the physical health of our members along with regular inhouse yoga, foundation training, exercise breaks, and wholesome snack and beverage choices. Impact Hub sets its members up for health and success.
People
The people that work out of the Impact Hub are the heart and soul of everything we do. In just the last few months we have added tons of interesting new members. The Impact Hub is the perfect place to meet, interact, and learn from the amazing people who share our space. In the morning, you can have a meeting over coffee, then meet with one of the Hub mentors before grabbing a beer with friends out in the courtyard.
New Events
The Impact Hub has already shown that it can put on great events, but looking ahead there will be a host of new things happening. Incubator and accelerator programs, pitch nights, keynote speakers, networking parties, and more are coming to the Hub.
